In the third and final part of this video series, Scott Davis, Principal Architect at Charter Communications, and Dave Belt, Product Marketing Director at Irdeto, discuss security considerations, including watermarking and what the pay TV industry must do to fulfill content owner expectations that distribution of UHD content will result in additional efforts to combat piracy. The video also highlights the scope of piracy worldwide, the need to target native device DRMs as new protection mechanisms take hold, policies that have to be implemented to make watermarking effective and the state of ecosystem collaboration on anti-piracy measures.
